[sumo] Why Sumo Forum?

Some people prefer their input in the form of a mailing list while others
prefer the 
forum.  Some can even use both.  But it all boils down to input format.

Surely that's not the only difference.  For a Musashimaru fan, any forum to
which he contributes is the place to be.  That's regardless of how much they
may hate the forum format.  (This was a hypothetical example.  I don't know
of any sumo forum where Musashimaru is subscribed.)

More realistically, if you hate the posters here, and you are true fans of
the contributions of Doitsuyama, Josh Reyer and John Gunning, you will
probably prefer the Sumo Forum, despite what you may think of the forum
format.  

All three of them "voted with their feet", and many of us miss their
contributions here.
