Continuing to veer ever farther off topic, for me the big difference 
between my present sojourn here and my previous one is that, through 
the Internet (and a really good magazine called The Big Takeover*), 
I'm now pretty much up to date on everything that's going on back in 
the States and to a lesser extent the UK and Downunder about what's 
going on musically.  Lots to explore out there--just seek and ye 
shall find.
