Good question Jason.
 I think if some one wants to become a rikishi bad enough this incident wouldn't stop him.
 Maybe if one was a border line thinker this could change his mine.
 Just like any other sport the people who want to participate won't turn away.
Just my idea.

I wonder if there were any who had planned to start but postponed their 
debut with Tokitaizan in mind.
