Tokitsukaze-oyakata attended the mourning ceremony of his deshi.
The relatives thanked him the traditional way (a translation might sound
inappropriate) and he was invited to help carrying the casket to be burnt.

last days of Saito
17th: running away from the Tokyo heya to the Chiba home of an acquaintance.

About 5 days before his death he returned to his parents home in
Niigata, telling them he wanted to quit, keiko and the heya hierarchie
being hard to bear. His father made him return to the heya.
The oyakata in an interview told that he brought him back - maybe that
was another of the 3 times Saito had run away.

25th: vanishing from the heya and brought back by his older heya-mates,
from a convenience store near their lodging.

26th: started butsukari-geiko shortly after 11 in the morning, 11:40 he
began feeling bad. The others let him rest, but at 0:40 p.m. he began to
breathe heavy and an ambulance was called. Brought to a hospital he was
pronounced dead at 2:10 p.m.

The autopsy result from the 28th still only is cited as: possibility of
a shock by multiple injuries being connected to his death.

In the press conference Tokitsukaze-oyakata mentioned that Saito
apparently in the past had smoked Marihuana and didn't quit smoking in
the heya.

Tokitsukaze-beya is the only sumobeya where I watched asageiko so far.
5 years ago Doreen gave me the opportunity for that.
The present oyakata was supervising keiko.
The former riji-cho Tokitsukaze-oyakata was in the process to hand the
heya over. He gave me a really friendly impression.
