Just to muddy the waters still further, I'm sure their
are instances where one of the lower ranked rikishi
will "throw" a match for personal protection. If I
were a not-ready-for-prime-time rikishi facing Roho,
for example, and was sure he'd win anyway, I'd
probably not put up much resistence hoping to stay
uninjured for following bouts I might actually win.
