[sumo] Hosoki from Yaocho Article in Shukan Gendai

Hosoki is around 55-60, I would say. She is not cute, but she is extremely
popular. I guess you can call her "handsome" And no, that's not a masculine
term. Many women were described as "handsome" in the not-so-recent-past -
Joan Crawford is an example and can be used as a comparison.

My Japanese boyfriend in New York rents all of the videos of her shows and
we watch them together. I find a lot of the programming ending with the
guests doing somewhat ignominious things, like rolling on the floor,
drinking too much, etc. I know that this is at least the 3rd time "Dorji's"
been on her show, and yes, she does permit him to use her White Rolls in
Osaka (with driver, of course). But she's not the only one of his
fans/supporters who permit the use of other autos in other venues.

I find it highly amusing that someone who is doing such an "in-depth" expose
(yeah, right) cannot even get straight WHO was on the Hosoki show. Tells you
how credible the rest of her article is if she is writing in a Japanese rag
and expects Japanese people, who have likely watched the Hosoki show and
know that she is misreporting, to believe her.

Even if Asashoryu were not my favorite, I would not believe one word of her
accusations - not against him, not against the others.

I could go on, and will do so in my newly established blog, when I go home
this week.
