Ross Mihara: Here's Riyo Ohta with a hanamichi report. This one's with
Gaijingai.
Riyo: Gaijingai, omedeto on a fine basho.
Gaijingai: I did my best.
Riyo: I haven't asked you that yet, doofus.
Gaijingai: Er - I mean thank you.
Riyo: You got a 12-3 record in the Hoshitori game and at SE you are primed
for an Ozeki run. You also got repromoted to Ozeki in the Upside Down
Hoshitori Game. Now you can say it.
Gaijingai: I did my best. :)
Riyo: What inspired you this basho?
Gaijingai: My poetry.
Riyo: Poetry?
Gaijingai: Hai, so desu. Try this haiku on for size:
Fat men in daipers
Mount up to the dohyo top.
Gaijingai wins again.
Riyo: Er - yeah...inspirational.
Gaijingai: I even wrote a poem about Miyabiyama.
Riyo: So desuka? Let's hear it.
Gaijingai: There once was a rikishi from Nizes
Who had a chest of two different sizes.
One was so small
It was nothing at all.
But the other was big and won prizes!
Riyo: Back to you, Ross!
Best regards,
Jeffrey Anderson
