Thank you for the recommendations.

The 31-hour, 4-disk video set with the 15 1-gigabyte avi files is
available for this basho too. It contains everything broadcast by NHK
World. This time I was able to improve the video quality somewhat to
640x480 resolution, and it looks better on the screen. It doesn't look
too bad on a TV either, if you have a Mpeg4-capable DVD player or some
other way of interfacing to your TV set. The avi files I have been
posting on my web site are identical to the type of encoding used in the
larger broadcast files, so you can use them as samples for evaluation.

Information about requesting the set is on my site at:
http://www.zyvid.com/sumo/
The set will be available for 5 days.

If there are at least 5 requests for this new set, I will continue by
making a set for next basho also.

This set was a bit less time-consuming for me to make since I had my
process under better control. After transferring the video to computer
in a high bit rate mpeg2 form (4BG file size) at 2am each morning, I
started my home computer processing the video, which took about 8-10
hours per file, so that the final video was done when I got back home
that evening. During the day when I was away from home I would extract
the short clips and do them separately on my laptop at lunch time and
upload the results to my site.
