"I'm happy. Everything is going favorably so far. I'm aiming for KK",
said Tochiozone. "I hope he gets a kanto-sho and double digit wins!!",
upgraded his shisho Kasugano Oyakata. Ozone now weighs a healthy 145
kilos, an increase of 7 kilos. He has yet to have an MK.

"It was faster than I thought. I'd like to get a KK this basho", said
first time sanyaku Mongolian Tokitenkuu. He now plans to add another
technique to his arsenal- tsuppari. "I've got to try to do it like
Chiyotaikai-zeki does..", he said. He is slated to meet the Mongolian
President on March 2nd at a function."I have never met him before so I'm
really looking forward to this!", he said, looking forward to this.

"I'm really happy. Becoming a first -time sanyaku at Sekiwake just
doesn't happen. ", said Kotoshougiku of his huge promotion to Sekiwake.
He is coming off a big disappointment last basho, when he was convinced
he would be promoted to komusubi after getting 10 wins at Maegashira 2.
"I was really sure I'd get promoted", he remembers. The people around
him told him not to get discouraged, and tried to encourage him that he
should use this as a springboard for better days, which he did in the
end. He focused on his keiko. "It's about winning", he said to himself,
and won 9 in Hatsu. He also seemed to master ex-Ozeki Kotokaze's
(current Oguruma Oyakata) favorite "gappuri-yori" technique, wherein he
pushes his opponent out while moving him up and down. "I hope sekiwake
is just a station on the way ..", he said, hinting at the next objective.
He also has a new kesho-mawashi. Black background with a golden 菊. The
picture on the Kyokai site is new, but I don't think it's this kesho, as
he is supposed to get it tomorrow at a party in his home town.
