Japan was the second country to tip the cell phone/POTS scale. Finland
was the first. Or was it Sweden. It was one of those Scandinavian
countries. Anyway, both now have more cell "lines" than land lines. I
remember when I visited Thailand in early '02. It was funny seeing
people there with two or even three cell phones. The US could be a lot
farther in cell penetration if it weren't for the idiotic laws and
greedy companies.
