Sumo wrestler Kakizoe marries former Nihon University sumo club member


Sumo wrestler Kakizoe and his wife smile when they announce their marriage
in Tokyo on Thursday.Sumo wrestler Kakizoe has married a 25-year-old former
member of the Nihon University sumo club.

Kakizoe met Emi Asai during the amateur world sumo championships in Germany
in 1999. Kakizoe, 28, also belonged to the Nippon Sport Science University
sumo team.

People close to the couple expect them to produce a future sumo wrestler.
But the new wife said she doesn't want her children to become sumo
wrestlers. (Mainichi)
