[sumo] [non-sumo] cell phone rental in Japan

Dan,

Assuming you are arriving and departing through Narita Airport, they have kiosks there where you can rent a phone.  I believe they speak english (most of the people that work at the airport do).  Should be fairly easy.  I am sure any other airport that you might be coming in through would have the same thing.
