Actually, she was at Nichidai (Nihon University) in the sumo club.
She came third equal in the 2003 All Japan Shinzumo (Women's amateur
sumo)Championships in the heavyweight division.

Kakizoe (28) registered to get married today. The victim is Asai Emi (?
浅井栄美) 25, who lives with ther parents. Her father manages a company
in Nagoya. The wedding is set for December 16th, so I suggest you pencil
it in NOW. They have been at it for 7 years now. They met each other
when Kakizoe was a member of the Nittaidai Sumo club and she was a
member Tokyo University's women's sumo club. He proposed to her after
his senshuraku bout after getting his KK on day 14. "I want us to be
together", he said. He told his Oyakata about this at the senshuraku party.
In 2002, she won the shin-zumo tournament in the heavyweight category.
