I guess the major problem is that Asashoryu has not
been training so hard. He may have had about a couple
of training sessions prior to the Hatsu basho.

And you really can't blame him as what's the point of
training when you can still win a yusho even without
doing any training.

There is a comment from Barbara's post that they
should have an inspector checking up on rikishis in
the dressing rooms. Well the rule is already there. No
rikishi is supposed to be visiting both dressing rooms
so it has to do with enforcement rather than checking.

But that really does not stop it as there are cell
phones and other conduits if one is really determined
to do so. 

If they are really keen on stopping this whole
business then they should come out and state in no
uncertain term that any rikishi committing a Yaocho
will be expelled immediately from the Kyokai and the
same will apply to any rikishi/gyoji/oyakata or
whomever connected with the Kyokai and fails to report
such an occurrence or even a possible occurrence.

But obviously this won't happen.
