I agree. I'm very concerned about the health of this list. We have lost so
many
regular posters. The fact that Doreen isn't leaving is welcome news. I'd

The current thread began with "I bring this up only to ridicule Joshua..."
I suppose
that gets points for honesty, but were I in a position to do so, that
person would
be at the least suspended from posting until s/he cools down. This isn't a
list
to ridicule our fellow members. 

To quote a much earlier post from that same list member- "It would also
be nice if the regulars who have dropped from the mailing list, would be
enticed 
to return.  A good, provocative, and respectful discussion might help."

Yes, perhaps it might have. Instead, it was followed by just the opposite,
with 
the expected results. Thanks...

Trying to turn lemons into lemonade, this seems like a great time for those
who
have hesitated to contribute to the mailing list, for whatever reasons, to
go ahead
and post. Don't worry if you think what you have to say is stupid, uninformed
or otherwise unworthy. If it's sincere, well-intentioned and somewhat about
sumo,
you're already light years ahead of the recent competition :)
