Oh I am sorry,
your lousy internet search skills and misinformation are due to your selective use of tools. If you had just said that to begin with you wouldn't have looked as..well actually it is due to your selective use of tools that you are looking so ignorant.

No, I checked the NYTimes online archive for 'brady anderson steroids' and
the first article that popped up was from 1998.

You can check it
yourself<http://query.nytimes.com/search/query?query=brady+anderson+steroids&d=&o=&v=&c=&n=10&dp=0&daterange=full&sort=oldest>
.

Now perhaps there is a slim chance that they actually published a news story
about brady anderson using steroids prior to that 1998 article, and then
didn't publish it, but I find that unlikely seeing as how the NYTimes has
had a web presence since at least 1995, but I suppose it is possible.

If you have evidence that there was this magical article, please provide it.
I also checked the washington post, but that turned up nothing. I'm sure
you'll be able to find plenty of articles through newspaper archives
covering this story from that time period and will provide them to prove me
wrong.
