You misunderstand my meaning.... The big, no, the HUGE issue was that a
great Yokozuna who had managed an incredibly long and powerful winning
streak, was brought down by  someone else¹s error. Everyone in  Japan was
paying attention to this extraordinary on-going performance- even the non-
fans.... And suddenly, it was destroyed. But the Kyokai would not go back.
Would you then say that they were steadfast because Taiho was only half
Japanese? ( This never occurred to me, and I don't think so).
