Sorry to go on the topic. If I may add a word, Moti, you are correct of
course about the five days: he probably did not understand how serious the
situation was, and that was another big mistake to be added to the soccer
game's one... I say "a mistake" because I can not believe that he was so
stupid to behave like that on purpose. But as far as I have read he offered
Kitanoumi to speak in front of the "trial" committee: what I did not
understand then and still do not understand now is the reason why he was
denied to do so. He might have explained and (maybe) apologized to the right
people.... or what am I missing ? It was such an obvious thing to do: you
think that the yokozuna should apologize and then you do not even hear him ?

No and no. In case YOU forgot, he returned 5 days later and half-apologized
to Kitanoumi.
He was asked to return at once, and didn't.
