KJ,

I don't know if you mistyped this, or if there are missing matches in your
calculations. You have Aso losing on day 9 to Kata, who loses on day 10 to
Taka, who loses on day 11 to Jumonji. Where are days 12 - 15?

Just curious. And BTW, a very nice analysis by Jezz. Explains the meteoric
rise of the torch quite well.

first four matches before losing it on day 5 to
Hoshihikari (J13w).
   - he lost the torch his next match on day 6 to
Koryu (J12e) who kept it for one match.
   - he lost the torch on day 8 to Asofuji (J7w), who
lost it his next match to Katayama (J12w), who lost it
his next match to Takanowaka (Ms3w), who lost it his
next match to Jumonji (J9e) on the last day of the
basho.
