Ah, yes.  Another sordid story about Asashoryu's treatment of his
wife.  And it is this press that helps the Japanese public form
their opinion about Asashoryu...

And, how ironic that the press focuses on violence.  I wonder how
many rikishi really abuse their wives that way, and moreso, let's
break it down into foreign rikishi vs. Japanese rikishi.  After
all, it was OK for sumo to kill one of their own by beatings.

Shame on the Japanese press.

PS. FWIW, I have not seen Asashoryu's wife in NY.  Perhaps I will
run around with my digital video camera in the boroughs and post on
YouTube.  Disgusting.
