Yes indeed, you can bet that Kotomitsuki and Kotooushuu are thinking
those exact thoughts. Those two will be very hungry for the yuusho, and
they are prime candidates for a senshuraku ketteisen (day 15
sudden-death playoff) because they will not meet each other on the dohyo
during regulation matches, being from the same heya. Theoretically they
could meet on day 15 both with 15-0 records, even. That would be
exciting to say nothing of making sumo history. (It has never happened
before, right?) I can't see Kotooushuu going 15-0 yet though.
Also, under conditions like these sometimes there is a winner among the
maegashira. Not especially likely, but if he is healed I would watch
Toyonoshima.
