Well about the airline story in their newspaper, it
may well be a rumour as I really am not familiar with
their media. I only reported what was reported in
Japanese media.

However I am pretty sure that hotel his parents manage
is built with Asashoryu's capital. If I remember
correctly they were introduced to the crown prince of
Japan and his entourage as the owner-manager.

Obviously having them visited the hotel is a great
feat for them as Japanese really like to go in an
establishiment their royality stayed.

Like Kyokushuzan, Asashoryu is making investments in
Mongolia and said he wanted to be a bridge between the
two nations. So he must care about his own reputation
in Japan as that would directly affect his investiment
there.

Asashoryu has not picked up Japanese citizenship like
Kyokutenho so his future within the Kyokai is
uncertain. If he is thinking of falling back on
something else, I believe it is prudent to put all
that money in good use. Just saving all the kensho
money alone can buy a lot in Mongolia I believe.
