This is what I was hearing yesterday (Tuesday) morning in Japan, but I hadn't seen the report myself.

Though run to very high international standards, MIAT is very small: for international flights,
one airbus, one 747 (higher number?) and a couple of Tupalovs (sp?) for inside the country.
And yes, Japanese money is worth ten times as much (and rising) in Mongolia, unless you are buying imported goods.
Does anybody remember that one of the first things Kyokushuzan did with his relatively modest makuuchi earnings
was to buy a parcel of land as big as a football pitch to put up a nice house for his parents?
