It would not fit in with his own retirement schedule, but I wouldn't be in
the least surprised.
I also wonder if the Kyokai bit off its own nose to spite its face. People
in Tokyo want to see two yokozuna.....or are the Kyokai trying to give, say,
Kotomitsuki an opportunity to rise to yokozuna by removing his fiercest
opponent for the next two basho? I'm sure there's more to the suspension on
the Kyokai's part than meets the eye, if you'll pardon my skepticism.
