It also sounds like he'll be under virtual house arrest during that
time as well, as according to that story, outside of exceptional
circumstances, he's been asked to "limit" going anywhere other than
the heya, hospital, or his home.

I didn't think he'd be pulled from two basho, but I can't say that
this isn't warranted.  But I wonder if Asashoryu won't just say to
hell with it and resign midway through...

Should make for an awkward moment at the yusho portrait ceremony next basho...
