Thanks for sharing that.  I sure will miss that guy if he does retire.

Here's a shot with him at a jyungyou in Kyuusyuu a tournament or 2 before he got his first (and only?) yuushou.

He looks so young and snappy!  Not sure if he likes that arm around him or not (Japanese just aren't as touchy-feely as
we Westerners are).

I always admired him for reaching his true potential for someone of his stature.
