Hakuho Promotion Chances (WAS Re: [sumo] Henka)

Doreen,

Not if there is a three (or more) way tie going into senshuraku.  Three
12-2s going into day 15, the other 2 win, and Hakuho loses, he finishes 3rd,
with a 12-3.  My previous post intoned that he could be in the yusho race
until day 15 while being one back of the leader(s).

Doreen rejoins: If he takes the yusho race right up to Senshuraku, 
then by definition he's going to get either Yusho or Jun-yusho, isn't he? 
Or am I missing some alternative definition?
