Have you seen him at keiko or off the dohyo? I remember seeing him many
times when he did nothing at all - not that he's alone in that. Once, when
he withdrew from the tournament because of a purported "broken elbow", he
was in the heya the next morning, leaning on that very elbow, on the hard
wooden floor, reading a magazine while the yokozuna Musashimaru and everyone
else were hard at work.
While I'm sure that others have a different perception, that was mine. And
I'm not taking away from his performance as ozeki, just remarking on my
observation. I would be very happy to read others' observations and
opinions.

Muso was not lazy. He fought injured throughout most of the latter part
of his career. Perhaps you mistook that for laziness.
