Almost forgot, huh? Takanotsuru had his danpatsushiki today at a "local 
hotel". 400 guests, much crying. The cool part is that additionally to 
the cutting of his mage, he also shaved off his trademark sideburns, 
which he had been growing for seven years. "I'd like to support active 
rikishi now as an Oyakata. It would not be good for me to be 
conspicuous..", he said, explaining the chopping of the chops. And of 
course when THIS happened (see picture link), cameras were flashing like 
mad.
