This must have been one of the so-called box-seki, an innovation in the present Kokugikan; instead of
the last row of seats downstairs being the worst in the house, the designers turned them into the most comfortable.
Round table, four or five swivel chairs, moveable but only just, and between them, plenty of leg room and
room for refreshments. They don't go on general sale, though I was lucky to get two adjacent ones for
Asahiyutaka's dampatsu.
