The All-Japan 1-day Elimination Tournament (or whatever it's called was 
held today at the Kkan. Winner? For the first time in 25 years, a 
hiramaku winner-Ama. He is only the third ever hiramaku rikishi to win 
this tournament. He beat Asashouryuu in the semis with a sotogake, and 
then beat Rohou in the finals with a left uwatenage that led to an 
okuridashi. Holding his 2.5 million yen prize money and smiling from 
coast to coast, Ama said, "I'll use this money to eat really tasty stuff 
and get ready for Kyushu!!".
