Ozeki Hakuhou plans to start light training on October 3rd. His injured 
right knee is not too painful but it is causing him some discomfort.  He 
will also play some golf. "Since becomnng Ozeki I've been going 
everywhere by car. I've got to get back to walking in order to 
strengthen my legs. Golf is good for that..", he said.

Two retirement ceremonies for ex-Makuuchi rikishi were held in the last 
two days. Yesterday, it was Ex-Komusubi Wakanoyama (current Yamawake 
Oyakata, 34). 220 people participated in the hair-cutting ceremony. "I 
have no regrets. I will now do my best to coach young wrestlers as an 
Oyakata." He entered sumo together with Takanohana Oyakata, who of 
course  participated in the ceremony. " My heart is heavy, but in any 
case, thanks for the memories..", he said. "It's getting lonely with all 
my 'classmates' retirng, but I'll just have to gambarize..", added Ozeki
