[sumo] Asashoryu the indomitable

Maybe its my ignorance - but I'm confused by the idea that Asashoryu is
preventing other rikishi from being dominant, or becoming Yokozuna, or
whatever.

If there were one or more rikishi who consistently came out second -
loosing only to Asa, I'd agree.  But Asa can only contribute one loss
to each contender - and ignoring that loss there is still no one else
who stands out.
