There was another ginboshi today with Tokitenku's win over
Kotooshu, but Tokitenku wasn't often enough selected to
change the shukun-sho standings as they remain the same.
Scoring continues to decrease despite the upper sanyaku
winning, as it was just a 54 point average today.
Leader Kaishakunin posted the best score of the day with
73 points and increases his lead to 16 points. Kazikozo
is back in second place, overtaking Wakanoshuzan again.
Yokozuna Ekigozan has a strong basho, staying in the
group of pursuers. The Hoshitori ozeki are true to form
as kadoban ozeki are rising to the occasion, two of them
being the best ozeki so far.
