Yes. As Kuramarujo states, "liking" anything is subjective, plain and
simple. I really liked it, thus, my review. For those who thought the
writing was juvenile (not the exact word), one may not be used to the style
favored by Professor Panek for this particular tome. Others may not like
the kudos bestowed on Jesse. As far as Wanda Adams' Honolulu Advertiser is
concerned, she may have been bored at some repetition, but the review is
generally quite favorable. She also addresses the style of writing that
Professor Panek used.

The Daily Yomiuri gave it a very favorable review a week ago -
http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/features/book/20060805TDY22001.htm and also
speaks to the writing genre of Professor Panek.

As for the various backhanded slaps, they seem rather unkind given that he
is not known personally to any of us that I know of, including myself and he
is not a list member, therefore, cannot defend or explain where HE is coming
from. I read the book, I liked it. Period. Everyone's REVIEWS are welcome,
but why start slurring the man?
