Yes, and as much I love Minanosato, he doesn't cut quite the same figure as
Oga does, although I'm sure he just as capable to be yumitori - well,
obviously, since he is doing it.  If I were going to choose a sandanme
rikishi, I would have chosen Asahanada. But aren't the yumitori usually
makushita?

It seems Ouga going from 6-0 to 6-9 had a reason-he is injured. 
Asashouryuu's tsukebito Minanosato (23, Sandanme) took over the
yumitorishiki ceremony today at the opening of the Summer Jungyo in
Fukushima. With no less than 6000 spectators attending, he said: "The fans
were like asking 'who the %^^$ are you'? I was quite nervous.. It's
different doing it up on the dohyo.."
