West Laurel Community Building

The West Laurel Community Building, opened December 1994, at a cost of just $500,000. It consists of a foyer and two large rooms: one 1700 square feet holding 200 people; the other 1300 square feet holding 170. Each has a refrigerator and sink; one side has a stove. Each has 10, six-foot tables and 100 chairs. The large room is available to the public for private functions, by calling 301-918-8111.  The smaller room is for the use of the WLRC but can occasionally be rented, if available, by calling Dee Dee Sisson or Karen Arnold at 301-953-7882.

Room A is for anyone and there is a cost associated.  Weekend/Holiday rates = $100 for 6 hours (plus $20 for a key and $125 deposit).

Room B (the small room) is for community groups (e.g., WLRC, WLCA) and its at no cost to them. Weekday rates = $50 for 6 hours (plus $20 for a key and $125 deposit)
